    The Caribbean archipelago encompasses more than 7,000 individual islands in a region of approximately 1 million square miles. There are 13 sovereign island nations and 12 dependent territories, and so much to explore. Every destination is unique and has so much culture history to explore.

    When you think of the Caribbean, your first thought is the turquoise pristine waters, white sandy beaches but there is so much.  The history, the culture and the people that makes us those unique destinations.

    The Caribbean islands are the islands located in the region of the Caribbean Sea.

    The Bahamas and Turks and Caicos Islands are always mentioned when you think of Caribbean but technically they are not.  They are considered as the Lucayan Archipelago and do not border the Caribbean Sea, they are technically part of the West Indies but not the Caribbean. Who would a thought?  When you think Caribbean, Bahamas and Turks and Caicos is always part of it. Are there countries too in the Caribbean?  Yes, there are a few. The mainland countries of Belize, Guyana, Suriname, and French Guiana are often included as Caribbean Islands due to their political and cultural ties with the region
